Jodi Morgan of Covington is stocking up for Christmas as she shops at Patrick's Feed and Seed on Bypass Road next to Eastside High School on Tuesday morning. She's lingering at the old-fashioned candy display, a big seller this time of year. Now owned by Gary and Jan Patrick, the store was founded in 1948 by Ezra Lee "Pat" Patrick, who died in 1987. "When I first began working in 1963, people were bringing in their grandchildren for Christmas and now the grandchildren are bringing their grandchildren," Gary Patrick said, adding that he is beginning his 48th year at the store. "We still add up on paper bags like I was taught when I was 13 treat people nice and give them good things to take home. Those few things will always stay consistent at Patrick's."
