Law enforcement officers gathered at the Covington Walmart on Thursday afternoon to help 20 Newton County foster children with their holiday shopping as part of the Shop with a Cop event. Sponsored by the Police Who Care Fund, the event drew officers from the Covington Police Department, the Newton County Sheriff's Office and the GBI. Above, Covington Police Officer Al Miller helps a youngster shop for anything that has to do with cars.
