The Newton County Miss Sweetheart Relay Queens represented the Newton County Relay for Life in the 2010 Covington Christmas Parade on Dec. 4. They rode in the back of Ford F-250 truck, decorated with posters they made urging everyone to come out and support the Relay, waving and smiling to the crowd. The 2011 Newton County Relay for Life will be held April 29 at The Church of Covington. The Sweetheart Relay Queens are Toddler Miss Layla Green, Young Miss Peyton Williams, Pre-teen Miss Gina Sewell, Teen Miss Alex Turcotte (not pictured), Junior Miss Lindsey Davis, Miss Taylor Reid, Miss Spirit Jade Cofer, and Ms. Global America and Pageant Director Beth Bradley.
