Eastside's advanced acting class has compiled their favorite monologues and 10-minute plays they worked on this semester in class, and they will perform them in an acting festival this week.
Eastside's technical theater class designed, built and painted all the scenery and props for each 10-minute play. Scenic designs include the inside of a cave, a mayfly's apartment, an upside down house, a classic diner in Philadelphia, a coffee house, a fancy restaurant and a creepy auto-repair shop in New Jersey. Show times are 7 p.m. today and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are free for teachers and $3 for general admission.More like this story
