Ed and Gene Hoertz celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 17. The couple was given dinner and a dance celebration on June 19 which was hosted by their three daughters: Jean Garrison of Meridian, Miss., Bobbie Conner of Conyers and Debbie Synder of Suwanee. The couple celebrated with 90 family and friends, while listening and dancing to music from the Big Bands to the "Electric Slide." The couple has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
