The Newton County Library is looking good for National Library Week as members of the Satsuki Garden Club of Covington spent time Monday making arrangements that complement some of the most popular books on the library's shelves. Here, Lyn Atkinson works on an arrangement which was inspired by "The Color Purple" by Alice Walker. The garden club also presented a $200 check to Library Director Greg Heid in honor of National Library Week.
