South Salem Elementary School student, Michael Webb, his family and his teacher Candis Christopher were invited to meet Governor Sunny Perdue in recognition of his participation in the VSA Art Show in Washington D.C. over the summer. He was chosen out of 120 children to represent Georgia in an art show and one of 11 nationwide to travel to Washington, D.C. While in Washington, he attended a Congressional Reception at the Rayburn House and met Georgia's Senators and Congressmen. The invitation to visit the state's capital was an additional honor and privilege. Pictured are (first row) Webb and Gov.
