SKC donates $30K for flood relief efforts

Covington-based SKC Inc. recently donated $30,285 to Georgia Emergency Management Agency for flood relief efforts. Sonny Perdue commended SKC for its contribution. "Georgia's corporate and private citizens have done a remarkable job of coming together to support their communities throughout the state's recent flooding," Perdue said. "SKC and its chairman, Shin Won Choi, are a perfect example of our citizens going the extra step to assist communities that were damaged and lives that were disrupted by the flooding." SKC is a manufacturer of polyester films. Globally, the company produces 300 million pounds of film a year.
