Holocaust survivor Herbert Kohn recently spoke to students at Eastside High School about his experiences in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s and also about his time in World War II as a member of the United States Army.

Kohn, past president of Jewish Family Services Inc., now lives in Atlanta, after escaping to England and later to the United States before the end of the Holocaust.

He currently serves as a member of the advisory council of the Breman Jewish Heritage and Holocaust Museum in Atlanta.
