Andy Irwin, local storyteller and performer, will appear at Oxford College at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in Tarbutton Performing Arts Center on the Oxford College campus as part of Oxford's "Sense of Place" series.
Irwin was Oxford's artist-in-residence in theater from 1991 to 2007. His music, humor and storytelling have made his concerts widely popular, and his fan base includes enthusiasts from his native Newton County, as well as regional, national and international fans.
Irwin's recognition includes his two of his albums' being awarded the Just Plain Folks award.
A limited number of tickets, priced at $5, are available by contacting Oxford College Events and Conferences at 770-784-4754.
