CONYERS - For those who want to enjoy stand-up comedians but don't want to deal with the hassle or expense of a comedy club, Stand-Up 360 may be just the ticket.
Stand-Up 360 is a series of seven stand-up comedy features filmed live and shown in Screenvision theaters nationwide. The debut series, which kicks off at 6:45 p.m. today at Carmike Cinemas in Conyers, will feature footage of behind-the-scenes action and antics with an exclusive lineup of performers. The cost is $15. "Stand-Up 360 will provide moviegoers with unparalleled comedic entertainment that has great potential to be a hit with theater audiences on a national level," said Darryl Schaffer, executive vice president, exhibitor relations for Screenvision. Comedians Erik Rivera, who has appeared on MTV and the "The Montel Williams Show," MODI, a contestant on "Last Comic Standing" and who made an appearance on "The Sopranos," along with Esther Ku, who has appeared on "Ugly Betty," "Last Comic Standing" and "The Howard Stern Show," will be visiting Carmike at Conyers Crossing 16 in Conyers today.More like this story
