Cornelia Solomon visited the Newton County Library on Thursday to see the artwork of her nephew, Joshua Tukes, 10, a student at Mansfield Elementary School. The artwork is displayed at the library as part of the Newton County Arts Association's annual True Colors Youth Art Exhibit, which runs through April 18. Solomon said her son, Alex Solomon, 13, is also an accomplished artist with works on display at the Southern Heartland Art Gallery. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
