Construction is under way on a new secure parking area at the Newton County Judicial Center. The 20-space fenced-in parking lot will allow judges and staff to enter the building separate from the general public. The total cost for the project, which includes additional walkways and lighting for the public's benefit, is $228,972.10. The contractor is Sunbelt Builders.More like this story
