Clements Middle ready for the big move

Since near the end of the school year, the school's students, teachers and other staff at the school have been packing up items and getting ready to move to Liberty Middle School. Liberty officially opens in the fall for the 2009-10 school year, and Clements will become a parent-involvement theme school for those who applied.

NCSO nabs suspected robbers SIU makes drug arrest of repeat offender

COVINGTON - The Newton County Sheriff's Office has arrested two suspects in the Wednesday night armed robbery of a Ga. Highway 81 Citgo station and has tied one of the suspects to the robbery of a BP station that occurred on May 29, according to NCSO spokesman Lt. Mark Mitchell.
