COVINGTON - Newton County residents, you may now wash your cars. But only between the hours of midnight and 10 a.m. and only on designated days of the week.

COVINGTON - Golf carts are now allowed on state routes within the city of Covington where speed limits are less than 35 mph, following approval by the City Council on Monday night.

Superintendent Cox visits Young Republicans

CONYERS - State School Superintendent Kathy Cox made a trip down Interstate 20 for a special visit to Conyers on Tuesday night where she spoke to the Rockdale Newton Young Republicans Club.


Ashley Hughes and Jeremy Rowe were married on May 16 in Pensacola, Fla. Chuck Randle officiated the ceremony.
