Sunflowers are in full bloom, just in time for the 8th Annual Sunflower Farm Festival to be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 4 and 5 in Rutledge. The Sunflower Farm Festival is held on a 15-acre sunflower field at 1380 Durden Road and includes an artists' market, live music, a kids area, locally made barbecue and a tractor parade at 11 a.m. July 4. The cost is $5 for adults, $2 for kids, and children under 3 are admitted free. Veterans will also receive free admission to the festival on July 4.
