For the man who has everything, you can't go wrong on Father's Day by offering up his very own cake to dear old Dad. Pam Dugan, owner of Sweet Treats Bakery on Floyd Street, was busy Friday afternoon preparing unique Father's Day cakes in time for Sunday's celebrations. Father's Day was inaugurated in the early 20th century as a complement to Mother's Day. It took many years for it to become official and it wasn't until 1966 that President Lyndon Johnson proclaimed it a federal holiday. It is celebrated the third Sunday in June.More like this story
