Carley Liang Serra and Timothy Milner Van Heest were married on May 16 at the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Serra of Conyers. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Van Heest of Conyers. Morgan Roberts of Conyers served as the maid of honor. Janet Van Heest and Caitlyn Van Heest, sisters of the groom, served as the bridesmaids. Addison Liang and Brooklyn Serra, nieces of the bride, served as the flowers girls. Taylor Van Heest, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Blake Serra, brother of the bride, served as the groomsman. The couple honeymooned in Oahu, Hawaii for two weeks. Prior to the wedding, a couples dinner shower was given by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Black, Mr. and Mrs. Milton "Buddy" Nix, and Dr. and Mrs. Alan Johnson at Reynolds Plantation at Lake Oconee. A ladies shower was given by Patsy Myers, Iva Danforth, Judy Sizemore, and Terre Alford, in the home of Mrs. Alford. Morgan Roberts, the maid of honor, hosted a girlfriends dinner and shower in Athens.More like this story
