Construction crews continue work on the new field house at Sharp Stadium. DP Steel workers, from left, Gerald Stegar, Jose Domingo, Mario Cato and Dale Powell work on the building's roof. This summer, crews are working on the nearly $1 million project to complete it in time for the fall football season. The new field house will include concession stands, locker rooms and storage facilities for all three high schools. Crews also are working to construct new visitors bleachers. Earlier this summer, workers erected a new video scoreboard. All of the stadium projects will be paid for with SPLOST funds.
