Mr. and Mrs. William Layfield of Alpharetta announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Renee Layfield, to Richard Ira Welling Jr., son of Ms. Lucretia Welling of Conyers and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ira Welling Sr. of Thompson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Truett McConnell College and The Medical College of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is currently employed with Scottish Rite Children's Hospital as PICU nurse. The future groom is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where earned an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a master of science degree in prosthetics and orthetics. He is currently employed with Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where he works in the O&P Department. The couple plans to wed May 9 at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, Ga.More like this story
