COVINGTON - The Newton County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 35-year-old Flowery Branch man in connection with an undercover investigation involving the sexual exploitation of children via the Internet.
Peter Edward Naccarato Jr., of 6263 Buttonwood Court, Flowery Branch, was taken into custody Tuesday, NCSO spokesman Lt. Mark Mitchell said. He remains at the Newton County Detention Center under $25,000 bond. Mitchell said the investigation into Naccarato's activities began in November. "He chatted with who he thought was a 13-year-old female online and exposed himself via a Web cam," Mitchell said. Naccarato was charged with computer pornography under the Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 2007, electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor and sexual exploitation of a child.
