Man gets prison as habitual DUI violator

CONYERS -- A Covington man was recently sentenced to five years, two to be served in prison, after receiving three DUI charges since he became a licensed driver.

Man charged with drug possession

COVINGTON — A Conyers man was arrested on drug-related charges Dec. 16 after being observed by a Newton County Sheriff's Office deputy leaving an area in Covington where previous drug arrests have been made.

COVINGTON — Math and science students at Eastside High School now will have the opportunity to use some new equipment.
