Madison -- The new Morgan Center of DeKalb Technical College will open its doors to the public on from 9:00 a.m. to noon Monday.
The open house is in celebration of the consolidation of many of the schools programs and services. The center is located on the second floor of the old Creamery Building at 150 E. Washington Street in Madison.
DeKalb Technical College is bringing together many of its facilities under one roof. Renovations have been made to the second floor to accommodate several classrooms, which will house GED and continuing education classes among other things.
Monday's event will allow the public to see the facilities as well as meet the staff.
From gardening and CPR training to brushing up on computer skills and operating a forklift, the one-stop-shopping education destination is DeKalb Tech's locations in Newton and Morgan counties.
