Bus fight gets two arrested 1 student pulled knife
COVINGTON - Two Indian Creek Middle School students were taken into custody by Newton County Sheriff's Office deputies Tuesday morning following an altercation on a school bus. One of the students was armed with a knife when deputies arrived, NCSO spokesman Lt. Mark Mitchell said.
2 charged in stabbing
COVINGTON - Two people were stabbed and both are facing charges of assault following an altercation that took place on the streets of Covington Sunday about 8:30 p.m., according to the Covington Police Department.
Students invited to the PROBE college fair
CONYERS - Students in the metro area and their parents are encouraged to go to the mall on Monday, but not to buy clothes or other accessories. Metro Atlanta educators want students to plan for their post-secondary education at the PROBE College Fair.
