Pam Rose scoots around town on her 2007 Honda Silver Wing 600, which boasts up to 60 miles to the gallon of gas on a good day. When her bike is loaded down and with lots of stops, she says it's more like 52 to 55 mpg. She rides her bike daily to her job at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Covington, and both she and her husband are active in the Motorcycle Ministry at The Church at Covington, which hosts Bike Night each Thursday at GG's on U.S. Highway 278. She says riding the bike is "fun, it's environmentally friendly and it's economical."
