The students in prekindergarten at First Presbyterian Early Learning Center had a busy fall break. During their time away from school last week, the students worked with their families to make their own self portrait scarecrows. This project kicks off their autumn celebrations, which also includes the fourth annual costume parade around the church at 11:30 a.m., Oct. 31. Students pictured, not in order, are from Marta Short and Kim Snyder-Kingree's pre-K classes, and include Griff Bates, Star Baker, Adam Carpenter, Cole Rusk, Taylor Nealy, Haylee Burtts, Harry Graham, Parks Harris, Will Atkinson, Caleb Coggins, Melka Eagen, Asher White, Natalie Parker, Augie Hays, Cole Carter, Owen Lane, Laci Know, Ashely Healey and Asher White.More like this story
