Newton Citizen
This beautiful bird looks like he's sending out Thanksgiving greetings, but given the traditions for the day, he'd probably just as soon skip it. His name is Blue, and he is an 8-month-old blue slate turkey, the type usually used for feasting. But Blue and two friends - Henrietta and Thankful - live at the Country Critter Corral in Newborn and don't have any worries about becoming the main course. Country Critter Corral is open Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, visit www.countrycrittercorral.com.
