Alcovy's 2008 seniors second class to graduate

COVINGTON - The second graduating class at Alcovy High School filed in to the school's gymnasium - some dancing, some waving their hands and others screaming with excitement - even as friends and family members continued to take their seats and fill in around the railings.

CONYERS - Wars come and go, but the red poppies endure. Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5290, in Conyers are handing the small flowers out this weekend as a reminder of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to raise money for disabled veterans who returned from those wars.
