May 12 to 16 was Bike to Work Week, but Conyers resident Jimmy Bowman rides his bicycle to and from work every day. Here, the 65-year-old rides along Dogwood Drive on Friday afternoon, heading toward West Avenue, where his brother will pick him up. Bowman logs about 5 miles per day by riding his bike to Creative Ministries Thrift Store on Green Street from West Avenue. Bowman arrives around 6:30 a.m. each morning and works until 3 p.m.More like this story
