The 27th annual Cherry Blossom Festival kicked in to high gear Saturday as the Georgia International Horse Park was filled with vendors, entertainers and arts-and-crafts aficionados. The day started off warm, then turned cooler after a brief thunderstorm. The fun will continue today. Gates open at 10 a.m. and the Cherry Blossom Festival will end at 5 p.m. Parking costs $5, but admission to the festival is free. Here, Peter Hart, puppet master from Atlanta, entertained children and adults throughout the day at the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival with his puppet and marionette collection.More like this story
