Two-year-old Addison Mobley makes friends with a bunny that is for sale this Easter season at Leapin' Lizards Pet Shop on Pace Street. Shop owner Jo Kiser, left, and mom Teresa Mobley look on. Ultimately it was decided that Addison would not take a bunny rabbit home with her this Easter. For those who do, Leapin' Lizards has everything needed to make a successful transition for the rabbits, which experts say should be considered house pets and the commitment owners make to them should be equal to that of a dog or cat. Kiser offers a variety of bunnies, including Dutch, dwarf, lion head and mini-lop. Now approximately six weeks old, the pet rabbits have a life expectancy of nine years.More like this story
