David Powell during the Montessori School of Covington's seventh annual Community Chili lunch Monday. Powell took a sampling of all four kinds of chili offered on the Montessori menu - Firemen's Firehouse, mild, white and vegetarian. Other servers are, left to right, Lilly Broersoma, Sydney Bryant and Chandler Hicks. About 70 community members, including firemen, law enforcement officers and city employees, attended the event, during which about 45 early childhood students and their fathers served chili, desserts and snacks.
