CONYERS - Stephen Brown and Dustin Dunlop combined on a one-hitter to lead the Salem baseball team (5-0 overall, 3-0 in Region 8-AAAA) to a 10-0 victory over visiting Habersham Central in five innings Monday night.
Brown got the start and worked the first four innings to pick up the victory, allowing just one hit. Dunlop tossed a pefect inning of relief. Salem's Kyle Dentler homered for the second straight game and drove in two runs. Cameron Gibson was also 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs. The Seminoles have now shut out two of their first three region opponents and have yet to surrender a run on their home field. Salem returns to acton today at home against Madison County at 5:30 p.m.More like this story
