If a tree falls on the roof of your house, you hear it, no doubt about it. Mary Sawin, right, who lives in this home on West Street, owned by the father of Rebecca Mask, left, found that out Tuesday afternoon as the rains and gusting winds came through. No one was hurt during the incident, and because another family member heard the tree "pop," Sawin moved her vehicle from the driveway just in time. The fallen tree stands on a neighbor's property, but Mask said steps already had been taken to remove the tree and cover the roof so the Sawins could safely stay in the house.
