Salem boys chalk up 2-1 victory CUMMING - The Salem boys soccer team played short-handed Friday night at Forsyth Central, but it didn't matter as the Seminoles (3-1) claimed a 2-1 victory. The Seminoles were forced to play most of the game short-handed when Nate Pulliam was red-carded in the first half. Senior Colin Easterbrook gave Salem a 1-0 lead in the first half, scoring off a penalty kick. Forsyth Central tied the game in the second half on another PK. But Salem senior Bryan Jones converted a pass from Kwazi Yankee about five minutes to put the Seminoles in front for good. Salem returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at South Gwinnett.More like this story
