Above, Charlesha Norwood, a student at Alcovy High School, sews together fabric to make a tote bag Wednesday morning. She's attending a weeklong workshop at Washington Street Community Center called "On Top of the Game," which teaches how a hobby can become a career. Newton and Rockdale students in grades nine through 12 make bags, pillows and other items to come up with a business plan. Washington Street Community Center is host to a variety of activities this summer. For more information, call the center at 770-786-4002.
