Dragon out some fun

Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith

Ten-year-old Grace Callaway shows off her artistic interpretation of a fire-breathing dragon, which she created at Southern Heartland Art Camp this week. During the four-day session, students were assigned a region each day to capture artistically. The dragon was made on the day Asia was the theme. Other countries assigned by art teachers Ann Wildmon and Arline Chapman were Africa, Europe and America. For more information on upcoming art camps and the activities youngsters can enjoy, stop by the gallery on Monticello Street or call 770-788-8799. See the Citizen's Sunday East Metro section for more coverage on the art camp.
