COMMERCE - Conyers' Harrison Elliott collected his first victory on the Atlanta Junior Golf Association tour this summer by prevailing in the 18-hole open boys 13-14 division Wednesday at Double Oaks golf course.
Elliott finished his round with a 6-over-par 77, collecting a four-stroke victory over Michael Thompson from Toccoa. He shot a 3-over-par 39 on the front nine and a 3-over-par 38 on the back nine. His scorecard included two birdies and nine pars. It was his first AJGA victory of the summer after finishing second in events at Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club and Honey Creek Country Club.More like this story
