If you look closely, you can almost see a face on this old sycamore tree that has a commanding view of Conyers Street near Covington Police Department headquarters. Its limbs are now bare, but it won't be long before the promise of spring brings it to life. The Georgia Forestry Commission reminds all Georgians to celebrate Arbor Day on Feb. 15 by planting a tree.More like this story
