James and Denise Tabor returned to their Almon Court home Monday after being away on holiday to discover that a lightning bolt had exploded a huge oak tree in their backyard Friday night. The top half of the tree was completely blown off, spewing large pieces of wood within a 100-yard radius. The massive electrical jolt also blew out three televisions and two phones in their home.More like this story
