Mrs. Joanne Bolton and Mr. Jody D. Bolton, of Loganville, and Mr. Kenneth James Ray Sr., of Griffin, would like to announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Crystal Ray, of Conyers, to Mr. Robert Daniel, of Covington, the son of Ms. Patricia Ann Daniel and the late Mr. Robert Edward Daniel, of Covington.
The bride is the granddaughter of O.J. and Ruby Lee Ray, of Decatur, and the late Betty Pearl Sims Lessard, of Conyers.
The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Melba Polk, of Covington.
They were married on Nov. 10 on the beach in Folly Beach, S.C. The bride wore a beautiful ivory beaded lace gown with an ivory sash and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father to the song "Going to the Chapel."
The bride's sister, Melissa Marlowe, served as matron of honor and Misty Lefebvre served as her maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Robinson, Tabitha Meadows, Melissa Harris and Brandy Donahue. The bride's two nieces,
Bailey Marlowe and Sierra Ray, served as the flower girls.
The groom's longtime friend Matt Davenport served as the best man, and Ben Manville, Lance Knight, Justin Blankenship, Ronnie Smith, Robby Myrick, Mike Wilbanks, Matt Donahue and Craig Hargrove served as the groomsmen.
The groom and his mother lit a candle in honor of the groom's late father.
The reception was held directly after the wedding at Pelican Pavilion. Served was a beautiful three-tier sunshine yellow wedding cake that matched the bride's rose bouquet, decorated with a few small sea shells. The bride and groom danced their first dance to "When ever we're alone" sung by Brantley Gilbert.
After a long honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple returned to their home in Covington.
