Longtime Porterdale resident Sallie King is on her way to the post office Monday morning to mail Valentine greetings to her great-grandchildren. The young boy and girl will no doubt be delighted to be remembered on Thursday. King said she loves Porterdale and is delighted to see the positive changes that are happening there. An employee of Covington Manor nursing home, she said she uses her days off to take long walks as a way of keeping in shape per her doctor's instructions.More like this story
