Georgia Department of Natural Resources technicians Jamie Dowd, rear, and Josh Tannehill launch a boat Thursday at Turner Lake as they prepare to block off an area of the lake with a 100-yard-long fish net. They are getting ready to host a children's fishing event scheduled for April. The men said the lake would be stocked with channel catfish, to make for a more rewarding fishing experience for the kids.
