Porterdale nixes December meetings

PORTERDALE - The 2009 budget won't be finalized until sometime in January after City Council members decided to cancel two scheduled meetings this month.

Couple fights mistaken pet adoption

CONYERS - A Newton County couple has taken out a warrant against a Rockdale County woman they claim wrongfully gave away their dogs during a pet-store adoption and won't help get them back.
