This week, students in Alcovy High School's Overdramatics drama club will present its first musical, "Camelot," which Alcovy chorus, band and theater students and faculty have worked on for the last three months. Shown rehearsing the end of Act I, King Arthur (sophomore Stephen Dunn) realizes Sir Lancelot (junior Patrick Gray) is in love with his wife Guenevere (senior Cailey Forgay). The performances start at 7 p.m. Thursday and run through Saturday in the school's auditorium. Tickets are $8 at the door, free for faculty and staff and $5 for students in advance. The performance includes community members playing in a live orchestra and colorful costumes made by volunteers.More like this story
