There's no shortage of water this month at the Southern Heartland Art Gallery on the Square. The "Waterworks" Show is the only display there and the public is invited to come by and "drink in" the beauty. Here, artist Cindy Murphy hangs her palette knife/oil painting called "Sunset Ducks," one of many pieces that prominently features water. The show, presented in conjunction with Keep Covington/Newton Beautiful, will run throughout this month in honor of Water Conservation Awareness Month. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.More like this story
