County officials and employees celebrated the reopening of Alcovy Road Bridge Friday afternoon with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The bridge has been closed for rehabilitation for three months. The bridge's concrete deck, concrete side barriers and steel reinforcement were replaced due to water damage. The project was funded with special purpose local option sales tax revenues.
