The smell of hickory smoke and barbecued chicken filled the air Wednesday as the Covington Lions Club prepared lunch and supper for hundreds of customers at their 36th Annual Chicken BBQ at Academy Springs Park. Two-year-old Reagan Mask gets her first jolt of tangy barbecue sauce as she helps her grandfather, Curtis Lynch, eat his lunch. The Lynch family has made the annual feast a family tradition.
