COVINGTON - If you bought a Fantasy 5 ticket at the Kroger on Ga. Highway 20 in Covington recently, you might want to check those numbers - they may be worth $1.2 million.
A lucky someone bought the winning ticket to the April 1 Fantasy 5 drawing at a kiosk in the Kroger store, but has yet to come forward to claim the jackpot, Georgia Lottery Spokeswoman Kimberly Lundy said. The winning numbers are 3, 10, 17, 38 and 39. The winner has 180 days to come forward before winnings are forfeited, Lundy said. "The player must present a valid winning ticket, proof of current address and a Social Security card," she said. "All prizes may be claimed at any district office or our headquarters in Atlanta." The Kroger store will receive an $18,000 retailer incentive bonus regardless of whether the prize is claimed, she said. Fantasy 5 is a simple choose-your-numbers game. Players select any five numbers from 1 to 39. If between two and five of those numbers are drawn in any order, the player wins. Cash prize amounts vary with the number of tickets sold and the number of winning tickets in each prize category. Players can choose their own numbers or use the quick pick option in which a computer randomly selects numbers. Numbers for all Georgia Lottery games can be checked via the Georgia Lottery's information hotline at 770-425-LUCKY.More like this story
