Citizen to undergo content changes

CONYERS - Beginning Wednesday, our readers will notice a few changes within the pages of the Newton and Rockdale Citizen newspapers.

Due to increasing newsprint costs, the Citizen will be changing the schedule of its Perspectives pages to print three days a week: Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Fans of local columnists like Darrell Huckaby won't miss a thing, as we will continue to focus on local content.

The new columnist schedule will include:

· Wednesdays - Darrell Huckaby and Bill Shipp.

· Fridays - Jack Simpson; Darrell Huckaby in the Newton Citizen; and Rob Jenkins in the Rockdale Citizen.

· Sundays - Bill Shipp; Darrell Huckaby.

Readers will also notice that we will no longer be printing a separate East Metro section on Wednesdays. That feature content will be incorporated into the A section of the paper throughout the week.
